MSE

Attaining a master's degree is something I've wanted to do since high school, even though I didn't know in what subject it would be.  After being a business owner for a few years, I knew that getting an MBA or some other sort would be the best fit for my business goals.

In January, I started at Southern Methodist University in the Master's of Science in Entrepreneurship (MSE) program.  I'll flashback on some fond memories of the GMAT (not) and the whole school search and application process, as well as discuss current projects, roadblocks, and successes.

The Inspiration

Below are the collages of my project's inspiration images.  To summarize, my ultimate career goal is to own and operate a historic event venue with an eco-friendly focus.  I'd like to find a property with lots of character but in need of some TLC, renovate it with renewable and recycled materials, integrate energy saving and generating elements (like solar panels, etc), and turn it into a highly customizable, flexible, and eco-chic event venue.  There will be many blog posts about the evolution of this project and it's feasibility, but here's a visual that guides me.
